One of the faithful Buddhist families from Reno Buddhist Church visited Eikyoji from June 25-28. The Fishers, a party of five, stayed at the temple guest rooms and they attended the service on June 6 with the local Sangha. Local members were very happy to have American Buddhists from Reno again this year as they could chant the traditional Shoshinge very well together at the service.  Elizabeth (grandmother), Mathew (father), Shelly (mother), Will (son), and Kate (daughter) have been very diligent member in Reno for over 7 years and they are very active staff members there. This is the 4th consecutive year to have faithful visitors from Reno Nevada at the Eikyoji Temple.

May more American Buddhists from Reno Buddhist Church are expected to visit  the temple for their pilgrimage.  They enjoyed the temple life in the small rural community before their departure for Kyoto.
